The most common questions

We are pleased with the great interest that we have met for the Lauge Jensen motorcycle and for the questions you ask us. Some of the questions are the same, which is why we have chosen to answer the most common questions here:

Is it a Harley Davidson engine?

No it is not. The shell is an Ultima and the giblets (pistons, valves and camshafts) was designed by Lauge Jensen. What characterizes our engine is a three-point lubrication system, where most V engines have a two-point lubrication system.

Is it legal to have the number plate on the side of the motorcycle?

Yes, Lauge Jensen is the first in the world to have a world type approval to place the number plate on the side of the motorcycle.

This approval belongs to the complete motorcycle and therefore it cannot be transferred to another motorcycle.

How far will the motorcycle go on one liter of gas?

Our motorcycle can drive up to 27,1 km on one liter of gas when driving at a normal speed (granddad pace). About 22 km per liter at a brutal speed.
